[Space Ambient] Forgotten Ones

By Mortistar on June 10, 2018 11:02 pm

Aaand we're basically halfway through the year at this point, how exciting! Week 23! In hindsight I should've prepared a large upload for this, and it ended up being a real short one. This is a small concept that I made for a game audio job I applied for. No clue whether I made it, but the game itself required atmospheric mysterious space music. I made this as a demo for that application. Thank you for listening and PLEASE, give me some feedback! D'you like it, hate it? Let me know! I'll catcha in the next week my dudes!

It's definitely atmospheric, but I wouldn't call it space atmospheric. Considering the length of it, the closest it gets is intro to space blues. Space is mostly nothing with a little bit of starts put in it and considering the length (under a minute), it's also kinda hard to say what it needs, there's too little room to expand into something unique.

But if I'm going to make a guess, it would be less paulstretching on the harmony.

This sounded spacey, but less song-y.  More ambient.  Not sure what they were looking for!  Good luck on the gig!

Whispier? Still, a nice piece on it's own, if a bit short.

Wish it were longer!

Fairnuff, I disagree with a fair few of your points but I get where you're coming from! Thanks!
